Kenny Purdie is Euro stock car champ
CARLUKE stock car marvel Kenny Purdie is eyeing a first world title after becoming European champion for a second time.
Kenny (52), of Airdrie Road, recently triumphed in the two litre hot rod class at Foxhall Stadium in Ipswich, 10 years after winning a European title in the saloon class.
The Photoflash Coaches director, who sensationally won in Ipswich after starting way back in the sixth row, thrilled the 10,000+ spectators by surging through the field and eventually prevailing by half a lap.
