It was no fluke either – they played with a real spirit and fully deserved the victory.

Hide AdIt was a real whirlwind start to the game. In only the third minute in Rangers’ first foray upfield Dolan raced down the right and put over a fine cross ball for McLaren to shoot home.
Within a minute though the home team hit back, a free-kick into the box and Kerr rose to head the ball to the net.
Only three minutes later Rangers were back in the lead with Kelly running, beating three defenders and shooting past Connolly. A number of Kilsyth fans were only just arriving, having been delayed due to a road traffic incident, to hear that they had missed the first three goals.
