A HOTSHOT rifle shooter has hit the bullseye an incredible 10 times in quick succession to record his first 100 score.
Eagle-eyed Euan Carrick (19) is believed to be the youngest member of his club — The Bearsden District Rifle and Pistol Club member — to have achieved this feat.
It puts him in joint top position at his inter-club annual competition, which is due to finish in a couple of weeks.
Euan has been shooting competitively for five years and said the first 100 is always special.
Shooting a .22 calibre rifle, the marksman achieved his feat from 25 yards, hitting a target area no bigger than the diameter of a pen.
The second year Glasgow University aeronautical engineering student said: "I've had a couple of 98s and 99s, so it is really good to finally get the perfect score."
Euan, from Ballater Drive, Bearsden, added: "It is far from unusual, but still not very common. A professional rifle shooter would expect to maybe shoot 12 100s a year, but at club level we would be lucky with one a month."
As is the club custom, Euan has now pinned his scorecard on the wall in the clubhouse.
