“We’ve worked with more than a dozen Miss Scotland contest winners and we always have great fun with the winning girls. We love seeing their confidence grow as the year’s reign unfolds and they fill their diaries with exciting assignments and photo engagements.
“Lucy is a great girl and will be a stunning ambassador for Scotland and we’re hoping she can do great things in Washington DC when the Miss World finals take place in December. We’ll certainly be glued to the TV set to see how she gets on.”
Lucy said: “We’ll be having to look after our own hair a lot of the days we’re doing assignments during the competition run-up so I’ve been listening attentively to the salon team to keep me 100 per cent on track about how to ensure my hair is just right.
“Taylor and the team have been so helpful.”
