You are invited to go along to the event in the Cultural Centre, Chryston High School, from 2pm, with local exhibitors competing in a wide variety of classes including flowers, plants, veg, baking and handicraft.
As well as classes for the expert gardener there will be novice sections for the aspiring grower, so if you have grown some vegetables in the garden or a favourite plant/flower that you have grown from seed, why not enter them in the show?

Hide AdThe society – founded in 1853 – also has its ‘Great Chryston Bake Off’ for all you aspiring bakers with classes including fruit loaf, sponge cake, muffins, scones, shortbread, jam and the world-famous ‘Man Bake’ (simply something baked by a man – usually hotly contested!).
If growing or baking is not your thing then why not try one of the handicraft classes? These include handmade soft toys, decoupage, tapestry, cross stitch, a scenic photograph, painted drawing and many more.
Get the kids involved with Children’s Classes with sections including a greeting card, cup cakes, vase of wild flowers, krispie cakes and kids’ favourite, ‘garden in miniature’.
All entries have to be in by 10am on the day of the show. The hall will be open on the Friday evening to accept entries. The prizegiving is on the Saturday with trophies, vouchers and cash prizes to be won.
