Logan Roberts (5) has been learning the art of circus skills from his dad Bobo Roberts — and he stepped in to save the day when the circus came to Milngavie.
The musical clown troupe from Italy failed to turn up and Logan has been helping out in the ring.

His dad has been so impressed with Logan's progress that he allowed him to appear alongside him in Bobby Roberts Super Circus, which is in Milngavie at the moment.

Bobo said: "I'm really proud of Logan. He's been doing really well in rehearsals and his grandfather is so impressed with him that he is going to allow him to continue in the circus ring — as long as he does his homework first!"

Logan's grandfather is the original founder of the circus, Bobby Roberts, and Logan is named after the comedian Jimmy Logan who was a friend of the family. Jimmy's brother Buddy was also a ringmaster in the circus.

Logan's mum made a costume for him exactly the same as his father's and Logan is thrilled to be able to show off his skills.

The circus is at the West of Scotland Football Club in Milngavie until Sunday.
