Since coming into Government in 2010, the Conservative Party has increased the National Minimum Wage by more than 24 per cent and taken many workers out of income tax all together.
“This income boost will be particularly welcome at a time when many of these workers will be hit by significant increases in their Council Tax as a result of decisions taken by the Scottish Government and the SNP/Labour Council administration.”
