Canadian man seeks help to trace Milngavie football father’s roots
Paul McLaughlin of Ontario, was born in Milngavie and lived at Carbeth Road as a tot but has lived most of his life in Canada.
In an appeal through the Herald, he said: “My father James McLaughlin played with the Milngavie Juniors, who won, I believe the Scottish Junior Football championship in 1933.

Hide Ad“I am looking for any articles or other memorabilia from that time. I would be so appreciative of anything anyone may have that might provide me with a glimpse into my father’s past (he is, of course, deceased).”
