DINGHY sailing has always been very popular on Bardowie Loch with novices and the more experienced sailors enjoying the thrills of getting out in beautiful surroundings.
And with the long summer evenings here the Herald has teamed up with Clyde Cruising Club's Dinghy Section to offer two readers the chance to win a two hour taster session worth £40 with a qualified instructor.

The club has a long and illustrious 76 year history at Bardowie Loch, situated near Milngavie, and has a well deserved family friendly reputation. Over the summer holidays the club runs a summer school which is an excellent opportunity to learn to sail and there are regular 'Funday Sundays' when junior members enjoy fun races.

Qualified instructors give tuition on the skills needed to sail safely and the summer school season will be rounded off with the Junior Regatta on August 15.

More information on the club can be found on dinghy.admin@googlemail.com or call 07754919240 or 01360 622345.

For your chance to win one of the two places up for grabs, make sure you get a copy of this week's Milngavie and bearsden herald, which is in shops now.
