SHE'S the stunning Russian socialite and ex-model who has captured the heart of Chelsea FC's billionaire owner Roman Abramovich — he's Milngavie's own celebrity crimper and makeover king who's well used to looking after the hair needs of the rich and famous.
And when Daria Zhukova flew into Glasgow to join Roman for his team's friendly with Rangers on Saturday she decided — like any image-conscious WAG —- that she needed some pre-match pampering.
So she turned to Glasgow-based style expert Taylor Ferguson whose star-studded client list has included its fair share of the wives and girlfriends of some of soccer's big-names.
A call from aides at Abramovich's suites in the five-star Radisson Hotel in the city centre put stylists at Taylor's salon on standby for Daria's arrival.
A chauffeur-driven luxury silver Mercedes limo swept up outside the salon and Daria emerged dressed simply in a black top and jeans, flanked by a posse of burly minders who escorted her into the salon.
Her security team then made a discreet exit and waited outside the Bath Street premises until Daria completed her 60-minute beauty appointment.
Taylor declined to discuss exactly what specific haircare treatments the Chelsea supremo's partner had enjoyed but it's understood he had trimmed her long locks before other stylists completed her blow-dry session.
But Taylor did reveal that his wife Anne asked Daria if she'd like to join their salon's celebrity wall of fame — an array of photographs of well-known personalities who've had their haircare needs met by their stylists and that Daria agreed with a big smile.
Now a picture of Taylor with Daria will join the likes of Penny Lancaster, Rachel Hunter, Myleene Klass, Justin and Colin, Kaye Adams, Cherie Blair, Billy Connolly, Darius and a host other big-names who've had their haircare needs met by the salon.
Taylor said: "She is quite simply a very beautiful young lady who is very charming and polite.
"We showed her the wall of photographs and she smiled and agreed to have her photo taken. It's a long-standing tradition that whenever someone famous comes into the salon we organise a picture for the wall. Our clients love seeing who's the latest big-name to join them at the basins.
"Roman probably wasn't too chuffed that Rangers beat his team — but at least he should've been well pleased with Daria's winning looks after her visit to the salon!"
When his affair with Daria first emerged it coincided with the announcement of the end of Roman's marriage and the reported payout of a £2billion settlement to his ex-wife Irina, the mother of their five childrren.
